Tide got a little to deep before the wind came around enough on lbi ... saw a few dudes out but they were havin somewhat a hard time gettin into them on shortboards ... maybe a fish or log woulda been good before dark. Gotta figure out a way to transport my log in my civic
surfed for an hour in Deal, it was weak waist high, but the sets lined up.... second sesh in Longbranch ,chest high+ clean kinda hollow, very windy very fun..
too drifty, very windy. but decent. reminded me alot of a "good" day in the summer. another beautiful day.
Looked at it at a bunch of places around 3pm and saw a few rideable waves. Tide was kinda high still... prob got better as it dropped. Looked deep and weak then. Saw a few guys out in Deal on logs... looked like you could get up and ride down the line, but you couldn't turn. Just not enough juice. But I'll be it got better with less water. I opted for the early valentine's day dinner with The One instead.
Envy. You guys who checked it and didnt go out....THINK!!!!!!!! Flat for the next week. Why not get wet. Lower your egos and have some fun. None of us are too good to surf bad/ok/good waves.
SW winds in brig ac ventnor are like side shore so kinda sucked down here. Reminded me of a summer day with this SW wind.
