Boner, we need to email a philanthropist and get funding to go surf these places. If you find them I'll do the research and flight plans. We just need cash!!!!
Not sure why, but this wave has always stood out for me. Looks like the kinda wave I could surf everyday till I die and not get bored. Playful, long, machine like, righthand, sand bottomed point (and a beach break close out section at the end). Sign me up!
Hahaha.. Im all about that 757 surfer. Get on it. I've got a lot of other ones that are probably more "doable".
The commitment and engagement you have to passing the time during disengaging responsibilities is admirable.
Yup... its pretty ridiculous. I've been doing this since google earth first came out. Were talking years of research. Also, my major in college is GIS, so this is pretty much what I'm studying. The sad thing is, I do this with backcountry snowboarding spots too. But those are usually more fruitful and actually get hit (used to live out west). An example of an off mountain line I used to hit thanks to google earth. And also hill bombs (god damn... I'm obsessed)
this break is real close, but I bet only a dozen have ever surfed it. props on the job boner. you really one upped a one upable by adding potential hills to bomb
a lot of the best waves on earth are lefts.... gods way of rewarding the goofies for all the years of prejudice and burning at the stake of stoke
If I am correct about this spot, here is a different angle...very cool thread, can't tell you how many times I have found myself searching Google earth for perfect lefts on company time.
Those waves are in Western Sahara, which is the country below Morocco. Theres dozens of setups like this in those two countries, lots and lots of shipwrecks.
A goofy foots paradise... Seriously there are like 4 left points in this pic (and a decent looking right for good measure).
