:confused:Surfline always posts a 1-2' forecast with poor conditions unless we have hurricane conditions. I guess they figure we are not that important so they just leave it at a safe 1-2'. This site is always on the money for me. The forcast for today was exactly right in the am and the pm. And I have only found one day in the past year where SwellInfo was wrong. Keep it up guys - this is the best site around for us right coasters! Thanx, Rusty, (SCislander)

Really? For me this good for getting an idea of when the waves are coming and what the surface conditions will be like, i.e. choppy glassy etc., but I find the size is usually not accurate. I realize that's difficult to get right for anyone but it just seems like it could be a lot better. This morning and several other mornings this week this site has called ankle to knee when there have been at least waist high sets. I realize that you guys do do forecasts for all over the U.S. though, so you do have a lot on your hands, and I guess you do a decent job with that taken into consideration. It's deffinately better than Magic Seaweed though;).

it is better than magic seaweed. but i do agree that the size of the waves could be a little better but once again you guys have to be busy doing forcasts for the whole us.

I use here to get a general idea. But I remember that it is a FORECAST and not a REPORT. Its usually a little bigger than it says on here, but as with any forecast, where you go is going to change the way the waves are. I quit looking a surfline for the forecast a long time ago because every single day it basically says, "1 foot, don't waste your time."

    Thanks swellinfo

surfline does suck. but when i first started using swellinfo i knew it would just be a forcast and not a report but it does give you a good estimate. keep it up swellinfo.

you must be short or something. if it is calling thigh high that means on a regular sized person. if your short im sure it will be waist high...anyway it has alway been accurate for beaches facing the atlantic, unless your on a beach that is inland.... i'm just joshin ya. happy surfin!!!!!!!
