Yes I remember the days I have the noaa radio next to my bed and used to lisen to it as I drifted off every night. I still use my years to make my own call A few miles north or south Can make a big difference some day . But I also remember the days of driving to the beach just to drive back home dry, Since I have found this sight I can say I catch waves more then before and have not came home dry in 2 years, Caught many days I would not have thought to go , As swellinfo looks a bigger pic then I do or have done , Calling swells that come up from the south when the weather making the waves never affects us same thing with north swells , I big thanks to you guy You make my life happier
Awww that's cute. Hey dudes who drive some ways to the beach: most areas have wave cams these days. Y'all should check them out. Then decide whether to make the trip or not......or call a surf shop surf report. Get 2M's number, he knows what's going on. Actually driving some distance makes you surf on those iffy days. You drove, so might as well. If you live on the beach you tend to get snobby and stuff......" Nahhhh I'll pass on that..." ........."Ahhh I'll check it at high/low tide..."
Surfed topsail Island today had to drive to the south end to get more offshore in the wind current was bad but waves were chest high clean with some head high sets They called it just right
