Swellinfo will go down for upgrade at 9pm EST

Can you add Forecast button back to the ribbon / toolbar? I come to this site for two things, the forecast and the forum. Right now the ribbon only has the Forum, Gallery, and What's New. I don't really like having to click the little box that has the three lines on it to get the other options. You could keep the videos, reports, and all the other things in that area, but at least bring back the forecast on the ribbon / toolbar if you can.

 

Love the new format. My screens were constantly disappearing before. I'd be reading or typing and POOF it would go blank on iPad. This new format is great

 

Much better now, I can see the difference from just a few hours ago. The ribbon is full of options now, you just got rid of that button all together? Home page has a better layout now too. Just curious, were these changes you just made in the last couple hours or could it be the different computers that i'm on, because I was at work on a different computer than I am now and it's night and day.

 

Sorry, got another question. Is the Surf Crew thing supposed to be like a Twitter feed or whatever the kids are calling it these days? Just curious, never really messed with Twitter.

So Micah, now i'm back at work and it still looks like it did yesterday. I'm using Google Chrome at work and at home so not sure why the difference. The way it looks right now is the same way it looks on my Iphone. The entire ribbon that is normally between the Swellinfo Icon and the tool bar that has the Forum, Gallery, and "What's New" buttons is completely missing.

Do you think this is a setting on my computer that needs adjusting?

Am I being redirected to the mobile site?

I'm just trying to help you debug this thing. I think it looks great when it's doing what it's supposed to be doing.

 

Never mind, I just maximized my screen and the ribbon appeared. But when I minimize the screen and work from a smaller window, the ribbon disappears. So you still may want to work on that little hiccup unless there is something I can do to my computer to fix it.
