Swimmers ear

  1. Our ears have taken a beating this year and we are looking to start wearing ear plugs when we surf. We have heard that there is a brand of ear plugs that allows you to hear better when you wear them. Does anyone have info on this?

    Yep,

    Doc's Pro Plugs.

I purchased a pair, but actually haven't worn them yet, because I hate having my hearing restricted in the water. These have a tiny hole in the plug, so you are able to hear better than using other plugs.

    Aguaholic,

how is your hearing in the pro plugs? I have yet to try mine yet.

I have just overall sinus issues, and i used to get frequent ear/sinus infections after I surfed a lot.

Not perfect but you can hear. They get the job done. But, I really don't like the feeling of them in my ear personally. I have the H3 waterproof headphones and believe it or not they seem to be better. The fitting and overall hearing. Ear/Sinus infections huh? Hahaha that's my middle name. :D
