it might be because the surface of your board is epoxy, so the glue doesnt stick as well. i know that when my friend got a carbon fiber aviso, he couldn't get dakine because they wouldn't stick to the surface. as far as that goes, i'd go with an x trak because i had that for a year on my rusty and it never peeled and i still have it. x traks are the ****
