Stockton College, then worked at Resorts and the Hilton for 2 years. It's not as bad as everyone says, but it's also not safe! Be smart.

I have family in Henderson, NV, so I have been to Vegas quite a bit. Then I went to AC.... Well, enough said. But, a place can be what you make it. The first time I had gone, I got a weekend stay for listening to a 3 hour time share speech. It was during the winter, can't even remember where I stayed, but we ended up at some pub just off the strip and had a great time. Second time I went, the ex-wife and I went for the super bowl with a friend from work who was a diamond club member. We never left the diamond club room all night, free food and drinks all night. Finally left there, gambled for about 15 minutes, then went up to the room. Also, not a bad night.

 

As the crow flies I live about 9 miles from the heart of Atlantic City. I avoid the place and only go over there when I have to and get out as quick as possible. In the past 6-months I've surfed over there once, gone to the Bass Pro Shops twice and gone over there for work a couple times.
