    Pretty fickled up huh?
I wonder what would have happend if I moved to NH where there is no tax.
I think the thing that bugs me most is my lack of hindsight and that all this happens 4 years later. Been one long strange trip

    Yes it is.

What's your point, besides the little one on top of your head?

question here: does an underfunded pension fund qualify as a pyramid scheme?

Absolutely! Analogous to the social security system.

Also, Internet marketing is nuts. All the copy and "key words" sucking you in to a purchase.

Wow what a thread, rivalries forged, tragedies brought to light, and barry badgering the younger generation once more. Who would of thought "taxes" could cause so much drama.

Whell might as well pour some gas on this fire. Im only 23 going on 24 so i don't know alot about how the government or this country works. What i do know is me and 4 other government workers got paid over $200each a day for weeks on end to drive around in circles "patrolling" in our huge offroad type 3 fire engine to look for non existent fires, in torrential (im talking rain turning the forest service roads into brown rivers) downpours 2 seasons ago.

WEEKS ON END We would fill up on diesel twice a day, at $80-$120 a pop each time.

All of this is paid for by the tax payers. Doesn't sound too bad, maybe 2 grand a day wasted on shenanegans, but magnify that by all the fire modules in region six (over 100 modules) doing the same thing we were doing every day in the rain? Tens if not hundreds of thousands of your tax dollars down the drain in just a few weeks time!Thats just the department of agriculture, imagine the department of defense!

Karmatically, i get my kick in the ass when i get my fire checks. If i make 8 grand on a 2 week fire, the government takes 4-5 thousand of it leaving me with 3 to 4 thousand because they group me in the highest bracket. ouch, talk about redundancy .

Oh, and tre - that's fukd up

But not at all surprising, not sure which is worse. What season was this? My bros said Portland got 43 inches of rain oct-mar...id think that would be enough to put out a forest fire

Like Chris Rock said..."we don't pay taxes. When you get your check it's already gone. I call that getting jacked!"
