So this storm is supposed reach cat 2 in the Caribbean? Is there any chance we'll get some swell from it after it passes over the islands?
Although it's forecast to become a Cat 1 or 2 hurricane in the Caribbean, this time of year it's hard for a storm to creep up the east coast of the US. Most likely it will cruise over Cuba and head ENE out into the Atlantic. Always a chance mother nature can change though.
if the forecasted path and intensity hold up, TS Paloma wont provide anything for the east coast. What kind of name is Paloma? I dont know how they come up with some of these names?
