Let's change the tack of this conversation for just a moment:

How many Swellies out there can honestly say that they have swung from both sides of the political fence (so to speak) and have voted for either a Republican or a Democrat during any given election year, based on the candidate's experience, policies and charisma?

Or, how many Swellies have the narrow and dogmatic approach and can be counted on as a "straight ticket voter" year in and year out?

Seems to me that if you fall under the second group mentioned above, that you are part of the problem and not a part of the solution.

tbh i have voted both parties. mostly against the incumbent for various reasons.

1. lower taxes. i (we) get hammered by taxes. srsly, i hate single issue voters but i could be one on this issue. (reduction of tax rates will never occur under any party. i know this)
2. abortion, religion, gay marriage, immigration, pot use, etc ...idgaf...they should not be politicized but decided on a local level.
