I don't know about you guys, but I get stoked off of other people's stoke! Reading/answering his questions in his learning phase almost makes me feel like I felt when I was starting out. Hungry for knowledge and amped even on 1 to 2 foot days where most people would turn around and leave. I have been mentoring my cousin's son surfing and I get the same feeling when I see him learn something new. Just a good feeling seeing someone learn and excel escpecailly when you know you have helped.
Okay, okay, sorry to get all gay on ya fellas! Now stay out of our line up you damn newbs! HA

I had a plumber over fixing stuff, he said he was busy and I had to wait. When he got there he was a bit out of sorts from his board hitting him in the head and not stoked. about anything. I told him I was going to need more work and he said it was 2 week out. I asked if he could show me how to do what I needed to do (I can measure and cut fine, but had to learn to solder, and the names of the exact fittings, etc)) His eyes lit up and he was so super stoked to teach me for 15-20 minutes and then even more stoked when I made my prefab piece with all my joints solid in the last 5 minutes. he didn't even charge me for the time (he is 93$ an hour for custies and gave a massive cash break)

sharing info and showing others is fun, this guy was having a bad day and when he could share his knowledge he became stoked.

now in the immortal words of U2B>>>>GKY

Zero, I like your posts because they aren't vicious for the sake of making someone feel bad. Frost, Keep stokin' the stoke.

When I opened this thread there was a sad puppy dog t-shirt ad...it was cute like this thread. Nothing better then being stoked and agree 100%.

Never miss a chance to teach someone how to surf, but they have to b serious enough to really get out there and try. Too many people are all talk. But when you do see someone catch a wave right - and you see the surfing bug bite. That fuels the stoke.
