well it's been more than that...what the hell is going on. and why has it been so warm? no waves in the ocean, no snow in the mountains means i turn to my friend JD for comfort. but he leaves me with a headache in the morning and uhhh, sour taste in my mouth. now i know how clay aiken (pop reference) feels after the weekend. got em.

Florida has been getting some surf... but northern half of the east coast has been skunked since the thankgsiving swell.... 20ft seas to flatness for 2+wks - typical east coast.

    12 Square

and the flatness, like the energizer bunny, keeps going and going....
    no end in sight

I'm hoping that 5ft @ 4sec  will produce at least a surfable ripple  for Long Beach, NY this weekend

    Yeah

 My productivity at work has increased too much and I am in line for an award... That sucks! I have been forced to call it quits for the season by a force other than my own. I feel like I've lost control of my world. I can't go on like this... Please, Neptune, send me a swell!!!!!!!!!!!:(

Mice can get barreled. Maybe it will be a Merry Christmas and there will be waves or atleast a bigger ripple in the water. Hey... What about northern south carolina? anything that is going to pump up it the next day or two?

    For myrtle beach area:

look for Sloppy S wind swell rising through the day on Friday - fading down on Saturday and trying its best to clean up (but looking pretty iffy with W/SW winds).

    Long Beach "blew"

    literally!

The wind was really strong!

It was choppy and the sideshore current made it hard to paddle :(

Hoping for better conditions for New Years in the PM

Any forecasts from the crystal ball?

At this point, It looks like long island is going to stay onshore through the day on new years...

could be some fun leftovers on tuesday if the winds stay more NW.
