Man, with all the talk and drama from the DAs and the SAs, I got to thinking why I like coming to check out what ya'll have to say on this forum.

It's like that Soap Opera my older sister had to watch every day back in the 80's!

A freaking Drama Fest! It's very entertaining. I lurked for years for this very reason...some funny sh%!. From the very serious informative stuff to the down right benign and all the $hi! slinging in between.

Some of it is petty immature stuff and some of it is deeply intellectual with some quality debates (even advice on the most important life issues.).

All the Characters are unique...for the most part. Some get killed off to never return. Some hide in the shadows waiting patiently to enter the Circle Jerk that gives them the most pleasure.

    anyone surfing today?

Since it is flat at the moment, maybe this will provide some comic relief therapy and calibrate some of the drama ..

Z, I hope you get on it soon to replenish your Stokamine (see, another fine item I learned on SI).

CDog, levity is always appreciated. Especially to cut thru the drama! Not sure if this little South with make it all that way for ya but hopefully the flatness will subside!

The storm that's supposed to pass through Sunday should give us a bump that will eventually clean up with some off-shores. Late Sunday and early next week looks like it has some potential.

yes and yes. Pretty rare to catch from the pier (one nice one is a good meal). If you can get out of the bay to the ocean side/cape Charles/3rd island/ etc you can catch'm this time of year. Not my favorite fish. flaky/white/mild like tilapia maybe.
