Before I peace out for the weekend, wanted to give these guys a shout out. Saw them last night. Honestly the best show I've been to in quite some time...so much energy, small venue, and Guy the singer is like no other front man out there right now, singing in the crowd, doing creepy sh!t, bleeding, etc. In case you don't know, Deaner f**king shreds. Guy on bass is from Ween, and the drummer/rhythm guitar hold sh!t down. The set included some sick Ween tunes(transdermal, my own bare hands, the rift, etc), some DWG new ones that were also f'n sick, and a few covers, all great ones(they killed it on Sweet Jane). Dude I felt like I was watching a show back in some new growing scene in the late 70's...just an unbelievable amount of energy. So up close and personal. If you like Ween, you'll love these guys. If you appreciate the humor here, you'll love these guys. If you get a chance to see them, do it now while they're playing smaller venues, b/c soon they will be packed w/ all the boog disciples. Gonna post a couple vids, just keep in mind the quality is sh!tty and doesn't do the band justice... Apparantly having IT issues here so I can't post vids, just look them up. Thanks, Seldom. Love Ween. They're in my top 5 without question. I learned The Mollusk on guitar and vocals in hopes of singing it to my baby boy, then a I realized it was a bit too creepy. I went with Waving my D1ck in the Wind instead.
