    Sums it up.

The OP stated he's been surfing for 30 yrs; if so, then why would he post information that guarantees the jamming up of already crowded breaks? See above note from NYNJ.

The OP could be pretty simple in the sense of what motivated him to do that: ....paging bitter party party of one......paging bitter party of one .....

you can tell someone how to get to Kilimanjaro but that doesn't mean they're going to reach the top. ya dig?

the people that are getting angry are the people that for some reason think they have some sort of dominion over a spot or are better than someone else cause they put the time in etc.

i'm telling people WHERE to go, not when to go.

Your posts are starting to resemble the gnome's early posts: just keep it chattering for the sake of noise.

i guess i'm bitter that so many people in surfing are so closed minded and think so highly of themselves. i'm just trying to take the knowledge that some have and get it out to everyone.

NJ has had a handful of features on surfline's "good-to-epic" in the last few years.

but if i already know and can help others with that info and ultimately help the greater good by disseminating information then the anger of a few doesn't matter.

A chunk of surfing is definitely about hard work to earn limited access to limited resources, i.e., the best get the best because their ability has earned it. You're posting information that denigrates that concept.

So, yes, people have every right to find you annoying, or they might get upset with you & they're not in the wrong for that either.

ZAGaffer's post is one of many on here which accurately & succinctly calls it the way it is.

You must be glancing in the mirror as you post your self-righteous-I'm-the-good-guy-accept-it yack. Your passive aggressive narcissism is pervading your posts, you can't keep the ooze at bay.

first: greater good is a myth. there is no such thing

it would be a great if kooks stayed off bro peak and went to a learning beach

I cant argue with you anymore, your idiocy and kooky ways are obviously beyond reproach

i'm not saying people don't have a right to get upset. my argument is why are you getting upset? because you "worked for it" and by default reading this thread is "not working for it" ?

Nah, this explains a lot. You're a pissy persn who has an axe to grind, and you're grinding it. Reveling in other people's frustration with your self-righteous clown act.

Seriously, your posts very strongly resemble the gnome. You might even live off the grid, breeding 10 kids & a coupla sheep in the garage for those late-night trysts a la the gnome.

Your 'argument' is no argument at all. You try to defer the attention to others by saying why are you angry? It's why people like you get clobbered in real life; oh wait, maybe that's why you've launched your missive, you got slapped around at Belmar.

Anyways, I'm not upset. No reason to be, although if I surfed NJ I'd be asking Admin to shut you down ASSAP.

the post doesn't violate any of the terms of service or forum rules. just cause people don't agree with it doesn't mean it should be taken down.

    sort of feeling like this:

surfing went downhill when cell phones came out. get your ass out there and search for yourself. people who have surfed in a spot for as long as they can remember are locals and can and will pick out the best waves. get over it. its like that everywhere in the world. no one likes out of towners who show up at their spot. no one i know anyway.

the influx glut at bay head is definitely due to surfline and local 'pros.' the place is ruined with crowds all year, even though it's a very difficult wave that often breaks like crap.the pier has an equal influx glut for the same reason.right over the bridge, blown up on surfline. ihl has had a weird history since day 1, not that I should talk, but this new weirdness is pretty telling and shows he is disturbed. I think the Belmar cam makes a crowd, and spring lake gets too much publicity as well. I just wonder if all these youngsters are going to thin out over the winters once they realize it's too often too cold and too crowded and not very good,a lot.i see the kooks sit out there like 100 strong all day in bay head and catch nothing sometimes. things have changed, but no one ever comes to my fogbog crumble here,so it depends on where you choose to paddle out.

bayhead is probably the best example of a place that was pretty unknown for a long while and in the last couple of years has blown up.
