Man, nothing like getting to work on Monday morning, after an epic weekend of fun, food and spirits with family and friends, hopping onto SwellInfo to see what's been cracking over the last couple days, only to find out the horrors of the past 24 hours. I cleared my "ignore list" (population one) weeks ago once I realized that SI had been returned to intended climate. This morning, I see thread, after ridiculous thread of nonsensical ramblings and displays of personal shortcomings. I stomached reading a few of the threads, only after promising myself "Don't say anything. Don't you DARE speak your mind. It's not worth the fallout and mental confusion that ensues while engaging with the criminally insane".

    And then I read it...

"I see you got yourself banned again"...

    Ahhhh.

Welcome Back, good ol' days. Excited to have thought provoking conversations about surfing, the ocean, weather and whatever else you cats want to talk about...

the SI forum should not be such an important thing in your or anyone's life.

This time... Had I said hello, it would have been responded to with slander and hate.

It's the little things bro. The SI forums may not affect the price of Tea in China, but they keep plenty of surf enthusiasts sane during the monotonies of life. Don't read too much into the importance of SI and how it weighs on me though. Don't really care, but it's just a strange occurrence when the force gets disturbed to the point where you look at the first 15 threads and they are all nonsense and has one common denominator...

If I wanted to listen to a bunch of people flaming each other for no apparent reason, I would spend more time on the surfer mag forums.

It's like listening to a child's logic or trying to argue with your wife. You know there is no point to it and the only thing that the other party does is sit, listen, wait, take some random statement that you happen to make out of context, change the subject and then try and argue with you about something COMPLETELY irrelevant to the topic. They just wait and poach some random statement that you made, change the subject completely and before you know it, you are rambling on and defending something that you don't even care about... It's like being outsmarted by a 5 year old or something. Telling them that it's bedtime, and then all the sudden they start asking you what you think about Aliens... 5 minutes later, you are like, GOD DAMNIT, you got me again, here I am talking about NOTHING and you got to stay up 5 extra minutes. Well played 5 year old child. Well played.

Well, the forecast isn't worth looking at--1-2 feet 1-2 feet, day in, day out. The forum's where all the drama's at.
