If you're an old school skater, you'll appreciate this: A new statue of Wayne Gretzky holding the Stanley Cup was unveiled in his hometown. If you dont know, the Stanley Cup is etched with the names of every player on every team thats won it. Except this one is covered with real as well as fake names including Lance Mountain, Mark Gonzalez, Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, Chris Haslam, Chad Muska, and many others.
Rad. Only the hockey-fanatical Canadians would read every name on the Cup to make sure it's legit. Here in 'Merika you could probably sneak into the Smithsonian and carve 'Nut Gobbler' into the f*ckin Rosetta Stone, no one would notice. I hope Chris Senn, John Cardiel, & Templeton made it in there. I watched 'Welcome to Hell' on YouTube the other day, it brought back so many good memories and made me wanna get back on the board.... Gotta do something else on this sh*t coast...
