The Making of A Wetsuit

    Pretty sick, fond this video pretty interesting. As I'm watching, I'm thinking of how cheaply made they are compared to other brands, but also how they make the neoprene in bulk. Pretty cool.     id say its on par with a wave smashing into a restaurant, good post grommet, but they arent cheaply made, odds are most are made this way and the bulk of cost is in transportation, mark up at the retail location and labor, not so much on materials

    Probably not labor...didn't look like aussies putting those suits together....definitely SE Asian labor

    Not sure how others are made any better but I do own a billabong vapor and although I paid a lot for it, it's not as warm as my rip curl. This even though it got great reviews. Awesome video BTW.

    i think they pay the most for research and development (and advertising) than anything else.

    Although i'd have to guess the fancy high tech neoprene isnt the cheapest fabric in the world.
