Because the site consists of all closeout products (products that didn't sell in shops). Surftech's suck, hence the reason why even a closeout site can't get rid of them. Remember, friends don't let friends ride Pop-Outs....
wow just picked up a 6'3 tuflite for only 360. just saw that board for almost 800 at a shop last week plus only 9 bucks to ship a board!
Don't be surprised if your board comes in 3 pieces. I've heard bad stories of guys buying boards from that site. $9 to ship a board? Too good to be true.
yeahh true I read that stuff too but then they just send a return label. send it back. then they ship it overnight
Read the fine print Take note of the "Country of Origin" Custom made. . . in Thailand. For both the Rusty and the Merrick.
Surftech Merrick Kelly Slater Surf Board is up for sale right now, even though it seems like they always sell this board....
I picked up an xcel infiniti 3/2 yesterday for $154. Seems like other people have seen better deals but hell, its still about half the retail price. Im stoked. To whoever ordered the boards- let us know how it turns out. Id be skeptical about buying a board Ive never personally inspected. $8 shipping seems too good to be true as well. Keep us informed.
Dude thats a great price for an infinity 3/2. I bought one two years ago after shopping around a LOT and paid way more than that. Really nice suit until i tore it up traveling. I just hope it fits you...IMO the xcel sizing chart always tells you to buy a smaller size than what actually fits.
Boards Boards are all Tufflite. Mine was packed adequately for a tufflite board with foam sheeting, bubble wrap, foam tip and tail blocks, all in a cardboard carton. No damage to mine in shipping. Yes the shipping is really that cheap!
I got the 6'3" I got the 6'3" merrick slater board for 359$ and it is 8.50 shipping, no lie. BEST DEAL EVER!!!!
I was gonna grab the al merrick kelly slater tuflite board but once I put it in my cart to pay, they were all gone. How often does that board come up on the site? And can I really expect the board to show up in one piece for $9 shipping?
