    I looked thru my vinyl but it's not there. Luckily for me there's wiki. You, sir, are correct about subsequent J S albums.

    I always thought they meant to say, "We bilked this city". Paul Kantner made them take the Jefferson out of their name.

    Yup. The Airplane remains one of my favorite all time bands from the Haight-Ashbury days. Due principally to guitarist Jorma Kaukonen and bassist Jack Cassidy. As you probably know, those two went on as Hot Tuna; their music was exceptionally great (IMHO) and remains a favorite. They still play together and tour.

    I did, but didn't like it but I've never liked any version of that song. I also don't like Slicks voice.
