Oh god here we go with Sandy! Every time a cane hits now NJ gotta whine about Sandy. Yes you guys had a bad tropical storm once in your lifetime. We have them almost every year in the South. Talk to us when a Cat 2 or 3 hits you. Or better yet when an actual HURRICANE hits you:

Early on October 29, Sandy curved west-northwest (the "left turn" or "left hook") and then[SUP][8][/SUP] moved ashore near Brigantine, New Jersey, just to the northeast of Atlantic City, as a post-tropical cyclone with hurricane-force winds.

Sandy was not even a hurricane when it hit you, it had hurricane force gusts sure but not sustained winds. I was in Fran in Wilmington :On September 6, the center of Hurricane Fran made landfall near Cape Fear, North Carolina with sustained winds of 115 mph! If you guys did not have basements and build in low lying areas the damage from Sandy would have been far less.

 

I left to go 20 minutes away two hours before the storm and came back at 8 AM dumb ****.

We got evacuated from the hotel and had to dive inland and stay at a motel. There were bugs and stuff... Come talk to me about struggles and dangerous choices. We were living life on the edge. AND I WAS ONLY 9 YEARS OLD.
