The Shooting Dope Thread

Man, I got no experience with that, but I love smoking opium on the rare times it's available.

 

You want to grow the opium poppy. Papaver somniferum. It's fairly easy to grow. I wouldn't know anything about how to extract the opium from it after you grow it, though.

 

blasters brah it's so nice...and not sketch at all. It's what I thought hash would be like before I smoked either. Very nice body high and tastes/smells just like flowers.

A wise man that I once worked with had a phrase about substances. Basically said whatever in it's natural plant form is ok in moderation.

Opium was plentiful around here after we went into Afghanistan. It's so tasty. No wonder it's illegal.

Back in '72 I got some while living in Colorado. It was winter and we were really paranoid having it. We jumped the pool fence at the local club and beat a hole in the ice to get rid of it if we had to. Smoked the whole thing and felt nothing. We all went home. As soon as I thawed out, I was fugged up. We all ran outside singing the praises of Opie.

Ah yeah, heroin is the greatest feeling in the world. Magnificent.

However, for something so potent and strong, tolerance develops quickly.

"I used to do a little, but a little wouldn't do it, so a little got more and more."

A beginner can get wrecked from a quarter of a dime bag(taking into account you are getting something with some purity to it).

But then, it turns on you. You need more and more to get a buzz, and eventually you are enslaved to a drug just so you don't get violently ill. The nodding-out junkie isn't a daily reality. Most addicts don't even really get high, well shooters always feel a "rush" but it ain't nothing like it was when they first started.

So much misinformation aboot dope in the media. Like, us east siders don't get stuff from South America via Mexico and the SW border states. That's complete BS.

If you went to Texas you would only find dark brown Mexican powder and tar heroin, which is all grown and produced in Mexico. Why would Mexican traffickers get stuff from South America when they have the ability to produce their own? Also, if Mexico was supplying the states with South American dope then the SW border states would be awash in Colombian dope. You'll never find South American dope in New Mexico or Arizona.

Colombian(SA) dope is the best. It is off-white to tan in color. In South America the climate allows for two grows per season in any particular field. No where else can do that. And that stuff comes to ports from Boston to Baltimore particularly in NY and North Jersey. Sometimes it makes a pit stop in the Domincan Republic or Puerto Rico. And yeah The Great Lakes areas get it from us now, too. Again don't buy that "from Mexico" stuff.

From the ports of NY/NJ it is sent to Allentown(lots of unemployment, factories and warehouses.....then PA has a law that if any cop stops an 18-wheeler they have to do a safety inspection that takes an hour. So, cops in PA try not to stop 18-wheelers. The traffickers know this. PA is long and accesses the Great Lake cities. You know what I am sayin'?

No, Afghanistan does not supply the world with dope. They supply Europe. The Golden Triangle(Laos Burma...) supplies Canada(west side) and Australia and of course Asia. Don't by that Afghanistan and the world stuff.

Ahh, logistically and economically, why would the U.S get stuff from A-Stan when we have Mexico and South America much closer. Of course this is all "the norm." If you know the right person anywhere, everything the world has to offer is somewhere. It's just not the typical.

Dope makes everything seem ok. All your problems seem inconsequential in a way that's different than drinking your problems away. And it's pure euphoria. But you pay for that carefree feeling. Dope will take YOU down. You ain't going to beat it.

Never use needles. That's what causes all the health problems associated with heroin. The actual substance -heroin - isn't really that bad for the body. It's the needle and the street life that causes the issues. HIV, HEP C, infections, abyss..........not eating and stuff is what causes the health problems. Meth rots the body and alcohol starts destroying organs. Dope doesn't.

It's hard to use moderation with dope because it makes one feel so good that they want to feel like that all of the time.

And of course anything done too much has consequences. And Dope is the one drug that can acutely kill you(OD). Only people with Richard Pryor money will OD on coke.

Stay away from opiates and opioids. As Keith Richards said, " You got to know yourself and know your dope."

And the greatest place for dope is North Philadelphia, taking into account purity and availability. By state it's Jersey. Though anywhere in the NE can have that fire.

But I reckon things are changing and places that barely saw dope are now flooded with it.

Issue?? Ha. I look at it this way, if somebody is dumb enough to shoot garbage into their veins, or even inhale it, I have zero sympathy if they end up dead. They ALL know the consequences; they all voluntarily take the risk. Play, and you lose- nobody wins that one. But that will not be my loss. Not my issue.

 

i have a friend whos dad was one of the first licensed medical growers/breeders in the state of nj. i've never gotten 'hooked up' from him, nor have i seen his grow-room(s). but he grows hydroponically and from what i gathered from my friend, he yields a lot, and quite frequently.

he's moving out to the northwest at the end of this month because nj has too many politics and policies concerning mmj. my friend, on the other hand, is staying with his mom for now, but is moving out west to live with his dad once he finishes high school.
