The Surfing Files - Review

"I used to log into a website called Swell Info to ask questions about surfing on their forum. A guy with the handle "SouthJettyBill" asked me if I knew where he could score painkillers, and then started talking about a talking dog that he communicates with in Atlantic City. Another guy named EmassSpicoli called me a "grommet" and said very nasty things about me. Someone named Metard made a photoshop of my avatar which I wont go into details about, but which did contain a picture of a woman fired from waffle house for lewd activities. All I wanted was some solid advice on what wetsuit to wear in Belmar when the wind is blowing 25 knots and the water temp is 58 degrees and the swells are coming in at 23 feet at 30 seconds.
What I can tell you about The Surfing Files is this: Its not that good. A book will not help you learn to surf, only going out and getting your a$$ kicked for many years will give you the know-how to handle yourself in the water. However, when you read it, nobody calls you bad names or asks you if you have a prescription for pain killers or photoshops pictures of you that salty Swell Info members all laugh at. "
