Swell is starting to show in NJ as well. Mid incoming tide this morning had waist to chest high waves. Occasional head high.

Where'd it go? This morning the VB cam was looking so good, with head plus sets consistently coming through. Now, it looks more like waist-stomach and an occasional chest. Could that just be because of the tides? Maybe the sets are too far apart and I'm missing all the good ones.

ground swell from this distance will show on incoming tides mainly, or until the major swell starts showing.

yeah it was high tide just before 11am...should start dropping allowing some more bigger sets to come in. i plan on checking it around 4:30-5:00. tyring to save some energy for tomorrow seeing that it was forecasted for waist high and was around head, tomorrow is forecasted for shoulder high who knows what will come :)

The worst is when that happens and you go backwards laying down attached to your board, what a hopeless feeling HAHAHA

I will be out surfing Sandbridge tomorrow. Took the day off from work. I am pretty stoked to have a nice swell for the week.

no, the hoards of people are probably just a couple miles north at the new inlet. S-turns is a ghost town now (fine by me...)
