This is great. 'Cause windguru has the breezes at low & slow & from a good direction at a certain break, yet SI has it S & nasty at the same break.

Always paddle out....to paraphrase a lotta people

While some may not get your reference, can we at least be civil enough to not start these strange real name, real life references. I really don't want to have to go pulling pics and quotes because anyone took it too far.

And just for the record this thread asked us all how WE feel about surfing. So, please forgive me for telling you how "I" feel regardless of how it makes you feel. You may not like my opinions or outlooks on life, but when I respond to a thread accordingly, that may not be the best time to call me out.

You got mad cause I shop at Walmart. And I simply questioned your logic since you posted your jet setting stories of years past. That was never meant as a personal attack. I just questioned your reasoning and hatred. And you followed that with a freaking tirade. I don't even know why you took personal offense to that. I was simply trying to get you to think about what you were saying.

5 minutes later, out comes white van and molester comments.

I am a bad guy cause I defend Walmart, but you are a hero for driving 3 hours to the beach and complaining about tourists.

I just don't get you bro.

My opinions about surfing may differ from many, but that is what this place is for. To hash it out and shoot the sh**.

I don't think there is any more of a personal attack than trying to call people out by their government name.

    Let's keep this kosher.

zach - you know me and you are good. That aside, keep dis tread holy son! Start a celeb death match tread if you got an axe to grind. Please Bruh, I wanna keep hearing what makes SI bros tick, not what makes them ticked off.

    K. I can be done here. It's just a shame that a brother such as myself can't share his beliefs, regardless of what they are with other SI bros without random persecution.

The whole point of my comment was that I am fueled by stoke. I am not better than anyone else, in any way, but for a long part of my life, all I did was obsess about surfing. I never went to the beach and saw a waist high day and said, you know what, that just isn't good enough to surf. And on the other hand, I have showed up and seen things that were probably out of my league at the time, but I found the courage to go anyway. That makes me who I am, and that is my outlook on surfing. Doesn't make me this and it doesn't make me that.

My statement is simple: The relationship that I have with the ocean and surfing is different than that of ANYONE else on the planet. Not saying in a good way, not saying in a bad way. There could be 1000 people who feel really closely to the way I do, but we aren't the same.

My stoke is my stoke. Some people may be more stoked than me. Some people may be less. But when I go to sleep at night, or before I paddle out, the things that I feel are between me and the ocean and while they may be similar to the feelings of many, they are unique in that they are mine. I am no pioneer. I am not saint. I am simply a guy fueled by stoke. Period.

Forget about where I shop, who I vote for, where I live or why I surf. Just remember that when I am there, I am complete. Every time. That is what it is. None of the other sh** matters to me.

Nah, you went after me with spurs on, jackass.

I cited you on your support for the community-killing Walmart beast. You...? Such a pusseee with your revisionist comments here.

You cited some wacked out Wall St thing, slammed me personally, going off on where I live, even on my 'commute' to go surfing. Go F*** yourself fran. You're a thunderingcun* of passive aggressive weasel-ness. And, yeah, I'd say this to you in person. You'd cry & retreat to the ladies room.

frandrescher, if you don't like the heat then STFU. The "government name" thing that you blither about, as if you're some outlier radical doood, spare us your hypocrisy.
Talk about a jackass living in a glass house: fran-dood, that is you.

Let the Forum go back to surfing & not fran-centric rants, fran-raves, fran-personal attacks & fran-verbal shpeckle.

Bruh dis tread so haole you don't even know it's haole. No hate in me this wkend, only stoke here at the Jerz Shore. No Billy sightings either yet but like I said yesterday - the homeless in Asbury seemed to be a happy, higher grade of homeless. Still can't get over how nice these cats are here! Bostonians = so angry.

Forgot to talk about the post-sesh buzz. Not the buzz from celebratory scotch, we do that too and props to the poster that mentioned doing that. I'm talking bout the buzz from the combo of a dope sesh and mildly going hypo. Why do you think I'm perpetually trunking it? It's a lucid high and the glow is unreal. Productivity goes down because it's a meditative-like state so it helps when I bring it on following completion of the day's labor. Can't effin beat it brah.

K bro. You wouldn't say a word to my face. Trust me. All I would have to do is go 10 feet into the water and you would be useless then.

I'll keep shopping at Walmart. You keep burning 6 hours of fuel and pretending to be a surfer. Sparky.

I have said a lot "to your face" broheim. Trust me: you are the definition of the puss.

But you keep on keepin' on, posting up your poseur surf report & your confabulated (look it up, moron) stories of how important your life is. You're FB gen & a loser with too much debt, the problem that you've created for society is that you're breeding with that lay-down gash.

But hey hey soul dooood keep on telling us all how great you are, what a great surfer you are, regale us with your tales of surfing triple OH in Cali.....all while you're fixing chicken sammiches for rich folk in HHI, the land of epic ankle bitin'. spicoli will be there to wipe your tears when you stub your toe.

Tell us this & tell us that, tell us the way it should be, with your made-up dramas & invented stories. Who says DisneyWorld is the only fantasy gig around.
