Oh thats such a DB move on his part, he could have done a cut back and cleared that guy... I've taken my fins to the leg before and it blows... after it happened I spent the rest of the day trying to dig out the broken peices. That had to have hurt.

Douchebagginess is Sterling's trademark. Boy needs a five-knuckle ego adjustment.

Ya... Im with beach blonde here. That could have been avoided 4 sure, he had to have seen that kid trying to drop in on him.

However that kid pulled some **** that gets pulled on me all the time. The typical burn because "I didn't think you were gonna make the section."

So be warned you section snakes, this could be your fate...

That move was a crock of S^&@. Yeah that kid dropped in but still being a more expierienced surfer that could've been avoided and was completely intentional if not criminal. When it comes to manners in the water sure we end up with less expierienced guy's out there but we all were at some point. There's times out there I know I do what ever I can to stay out of other surfer's waves whether going for one or paddling out and some guy's decide to aim aim right at ya. WHAT A PUNK. Needs a lesson in manners

Agreed, thats what I would have done if that was me lol, (although I don't usually drop in on people. I might be young but I'm pretty sure that jerk moves like that are not what surfing is about. (granted I do think that people need to have some respect out there for the "seasoned guys")

usually a good yell does the trick. if you have a repeat offender then something stronger, but intentionally running someone down is a d!ck move and it will catch up with the preening little douche. seasoned guys deserve respect, but also earn it by behaving as a seasoned person should and not slicing up the groms for a stupid mistake.

Kid was an a'hole when he was fighting over storm waves in P'cola. Interviewed him once, wanted to shove my camera down his throat to get some pics of the **** he was full of.

LOl, yeah it was a DB move, but damnthere have been times that I've wanted to do something along those lines.

I don't get why the kid was dropping in on him, other than he didn't care or didnt look... or both. He deserved at least a good talking to this first time, a scolding the second time, and sent to the beach the third time. The board to the noggin was a little overboard.

It wasn't me, so it's kinda funny. God knows how many times I wanted to do something like that on a crowded Malibu day. :D
