Just finished an early morning session at Jenness today. UNBELIEVABLE!! 5-6 and pretty darn CLEAN!! Best day of the season right there so far! Gonna head out again tomorrow in the afternoon. Water is still warm(considering that 64 is warm in NE) and you can see the steam coming off the water!
surf is "meh"..it is not 'firing" and neither is it "going off". Average swell. 6 ft is nothing to wet your pants about, too fun. And yes, I got out as well. It was "okay".
You, sir, are correct!! NNE winds suck at most places. But they were very light. I went out at low tide and the waves were head high, and very so-so. Nothing about which to start a thread. But, given the slow year, I can understand toofuns enthusiasm. I will go out again tomorrow; hopefully it will be "mo beta". Surfing NH is not a great experience; even their "points" are lame. And the Massholes are the worse infestation ever.
Well its hard to curb your enthusiasm here in Mass/NH since most of the time it really is ****ty here compared to the rest of the country, so days like yesterday and today are something to look forward to around here. Kinda like when it snows in Florida...We laugh when we see citys literally shut down because of an inch or two of snow but to them its a big friggin deal!! Dont worry though, we will go back to having nothing to talk about around here come thursday, friday, and the weekend.....
toofun, don't let o barry get you down. Riding waves in all aspects is one of the most personal things one can engage in. What matters is you scored waves that you enjoyed and rode them to your liking. I hope you got me two.
Believe me I never take anything anyone says on here to heart... Surfers are like hockey and lacrosse players.. stylish and gritty but also chippy, chirpy, and natural born smart asses! I'd be lying if I didn't say I feel right at home here in this dysfunctional forum family!!
Maybe I see the future, in the present? Would explain a lot... like right now I can see your response to this already!LOL
DUDE, I am NOT like a lacrosse player. And though hockey is twitchen, surfers are not Canadian, barn-dwellers skating on frozen ponds in the freaking Regina suburbs. Regina is a city in Canada. Look up what province. What's a province? Aww man... Hockey players are Stylish? Yeah, maybe in the 1970's. Canadians aren't known for being stylish. That's why we have the term "Canadian Tuxedo" to describe a get-up of jeans and a jean jacket. Yes, all hockey dudes are Canadian...or Finish.
Someone went to the wrong spot, or brought the wrong board. I did Jenness the other day, but went to a much less known point the past two days. Average size, yes, But more than average quality for certain.
