she is soooo gnarly!! does anyone else find the woman completely repulsive in every way??

I'm not surprised that no one has heard about this spill. why is it that in all other countries alternate forms of energy are so much more abundant than here in the US?? i wish these politician would get their heads out of the asses of big petroleum corporations enough to care about what is going on with our planet, more specifically our oceans due to these same companies.

Thanks for posting this Chich. Not much media coverage of this oil spill, unfortunately. This area is "the largest continguous tidal mangrove forest in the world," and is home to several endangered species and a million human beings (National Geographic).

Children are cleaning it up. With zero protection.

That number is actually from the State Department's assessment.

Even the temporary jobs numbers were b*llsh*t. A Federal study and an independent Cornell University study predicted about one third of the jobs that the company predicted.

It's a very bad idea that will make a few very bad people rich.

What's sad is that oil is probably not the worst thing in that river. Bangladesh is one of the most polluted places on Earth.

Something I thought I'd share. Related but not specifically. Paul Stamets is at the forefront of mycology. Also a big psilocybin proponent. But he's developed a way to detoxify oil drenched areas with the Oyster mushroom mycelium. He's also done this with oil soaked human hair(apparently hair soaks up oil real good). Pretty f'n read, the power of mycelium:

I'd fvck her ego back into place and then go surfing. Whoever says they wouldn't is either lying or too old to care.
