I feel like the forum has been down in the dumps about this SI upgrade and the addition of Surf Crew, but I honestly think this came at the right time and it'll allow the forum lineup to regulate some. There's been a huge influx here recently of just attention-grabbing posts and topics; new members that just want the eyes on them and don't want to contribute content. The anonymity that the forum provides can also be dangerous when mixed with these kinds of folks. **Enter Surf Crew stage right** This is the perfect outlet for what these users need; somewhere they can go to feel like surfers when there's no waves in the water and where they can share all of their pictures/videos and get instant reassurance as to how wonderful their presence is on this earth. Perhaps this place will now get back to being the informative and communal lineup that drew me here in the first place, but who knows.
I'm with ya salzsurf and hope for the same. I'm waiting for a clean up set to thin out the lineup before I paddle back out.
