sam hammer and dean randazzo are the only 2 that deserve respect in nj.sam hammer because I seen him paddle into 20footers in Puerto Escondido, randazzo for paddling maxed out hurricane swell at Huntington beach(its on one of the ...lost vids) and absolutely destroying the wave.everyone else, the pollionis, gleason,Humphreys aint nobody special, just little rich kids that grew up 20 ft from the ocean and had their daddys pushing them into waves when they were 2

who I really hate are these photogs.they send pics to surfline and they don't get published and they have a mid teen breakdown.seriously it takes no skill whatsoever to take a fukin picture.they do not deserve money for their pics or for them shooting u,thats their own free will.i don't get paid when I surf why should they.not like they actually bought their camera, its usually a Christmas gift, every Christmas they get a new cam.i know this because I know a few of these little kookburgers in person."yea dude come down to bayhead il shoot some photos."......yea Im not driving 60 miles to go surf with all the pros and their little buttbuddies, having to dodge cameraboys in the lineup.im fine 10 minutes from my house

While a journey on a lost Southern Delaware road may set one's mind to the Antebellum south, Delaware is ours. New Castle County is North East at its finest.

Yeah parts of Maryland and Delaware definitely feel southern.

However the present day line of demarcation is Richmond, VA. Ain't nothing southern aboot the DC area.

Pretty interesting dynamic this line of demarcation you speak of. Over the past say two decades there has been a massive shift (exodus even) of NEners moving south along the coast. This infiltration has changed and is changing the dynamic of local politics.

Totally agree with DC and Richmond. According to a friend in the Real Estate Biz, this now happening in Williamsburg with a huge influx of folks from the NE over the last few years

Why though? Is it because of the milder weather? I have heard similar stories about local small beach towns in SEern NC as well.

I think it has to do with quality of life. Real Estate prices, taxes, and milder weather. Especially after this past winter (yes Riley I said it "Taxes"...don't get all crazy on me, just saying).

Well the Northeast manufacturing juggernaut has died. So..........

Everything is old and decaying up here.

The south seems so promising these days.

Even vice industries are dying here. I mean, I've seen three liquor stores selling their properties in the last few months.

What !! Liquor stores don't fail. One's even located in an economically depressed area.....

    Casinos are closing...

    Strange things are afoot.

Yeah, a lot northerners are dim. They're all, they're like, " Hey Florida is cheaper !!" And then they realize that Florida don't pay like New York does. So it's all relative.

"But, but I was making $18 an hour doing this in NY and now I get $9.00...Florida you tease !!"

A lot of people in New Jersey think Florida is the promised land. But most come back....

I don't know aboot JETTY's DePhillipo if that's even the correct name, but that DePhillipo who does the "funny" stuff with the Gesler is a tool. Sissy vajayjay. Another one afraid of the computer. Oh no there are tourists in his neighborhood during the summer. Oh man they suck. But it's cool when him and his boys hit Philly for a Flyers game or a Taylor Swift concert. Oh, that's ok, but Philly people can't come to Margate or wherever.

These Margate and Longport people need to be silenced. F Margate and Longport. What, too good for Atlantic City, huh?

Man F these barrier island heroes.

Oh, why all the dislike for Rob Kelly? What, is he cocky or something? I thought or fought he was a humble boy from Bear Country, PA? He does the air.

Growing up and living in NJ was great. Sure it has faults and it's A- holes and I would never beg anyone to go there to find out. The good people that make lives there know what the state really has to offer. Most people that make it to a high point in their endeavors get a little egotistical. The "better than thou" syndrome. Hell, if we were world class surfers we would probably get uppity too. People be who they be. It ain't the state, they come from everywhere.

My pops retired in January (63). Did Florida for 2 months and couldn't take it. His exact words were "He's not ready to die yet"
