How do you get your mind right for something like that?! I sometimes have to climb 60 feet to get to the top of some equipment at work, and that even gets me........... props to those people who take on those high risk jobs,,,,,to change a bulb.......insanity
Sorry for the thread title.. wasn't thinking... But yeah, these dudes free climb that...they are just mental.
It would almost make more sense to learn to base jump/sky dive. Not only would it be easier and quicker to get down, it'd be a hell lot more fun!
after your 50 feet in the air, the mortality rate is around 90%. Not too much difference if you fall from 60 feet or 2000 feet.... This looks like fun, i don't think i would go up that little flagpole looking thing towards the end tho haha
wowwwww. it takes a lot to make me uncomfortable, i mean a good lord **** ton. but wow, this had me cringing and squirming, imagining doing that.
It's a tough job.I began the day I turned 18 for a local company that serves the east coast building and maintaining towers www.stellartowers.com. It becomes treacherous in de through winter when temps 1000 feet up get 20 degrees colder ! And your up there fixing an antenna for nine or twelve hours in layers of clothes bare handed.. Oh and by the way the climb is easy considering you either climb up a heavy bag full of tools or a huge rigging rope. I have taken a hiatus to study the engineering aspect of the job and give my body a rest.

A build we did in pittsville with me being a photographer ha
this one makes m palms sweaty and my heart beat harder. Rather surf a hurricane anyday. A parachute jump would be appropriate at this point.
