I was out a week ago and it was still cold... but the air was cold as well... like 40 in the morning... I forget where you surf...but in nj I was wearing an old 4/3 and was fine, so maybe a new 3/2 would be good
Lava lamp says I'll be ok with 3-2 and maybe 3 mil gloves! Wore my 4-3 in 43 degree water but flashbomb plus is a bad arss suit! This is s pycho1 rated for 60 so I'm going for it! Clear skies = nice sun rise and salty skin! Getting ready for 2-3' bombs! Lol
Was out 2 weeks ago in central NJ in 3/2 Drylock and good 3 mil gloves with a squid lid. Was fine. If it wasnt a Drylock, would not have worn a 3/2.
If you have boots and gloves, you're good. Maybe some thick underwear and a thermal rash guard and your're good.
I've been wearing a strait 3mm on the small nice weather days for a month now and have been fine. Wore a 2mm no gloves today and was fine. Granted air temps were 80s 90s. Don't know what the water temp was but I got puzzy hands and they were fine.
I wasn't aware we had waves archy lol.i havnt been out in a few weeks,i was still wearing my 4/3 with boots,no gloves. I wish we had some waves during the past 3 days in the 90s.i definitely would've went out in a 3/2.its cold,but its refreshing,and with the heat and lack of wind I cant imagine it being too bad.

I still love May prior to Memorial Day: no bugs, switch to short suit, no crowds, and no summertime beach restrictions. After next weekend, it's "Dogs and Surfers Stay off the Beach".
Wasn't much to speak of, but definitely ridable. Couple of belly button high ones in the afternoon at the right spot. I live a block from the beach so I was lookin all day and found the right window.
just took the shepherd to watch the sunrise! Frisbees and serenity at 5:15 am! good stuff but its over next week! cops actually come on the beach and give you shatt! cant handle that kind of ridiculous B.S. end up behind bars because I have no buffer!

Last June on a rainy day I took the fat bike and dog to the beach for a ride/run. No one in sight,windy, and raining. Cop rolled up in 5 minutes. Said they were cool with it but someone called and complained. Are you fookin serious!? *****y tourons with nothin better to do thinking they own the place cuz they spend $10,000 a month for a summer rental. Cep the only reason really for the dog ban March 5 is because of nesting seabirds. Sucks but gotta sort of respect it.
The real fk up thing is that there's no open containers and drugs allowed but these lazy cops go after dog walkers! Every cooler and cool cat on that beach is getting high as a lab rat and drinking beer! I love both but dogs are your real perp! Go fk yourself!
My problem with dogs on the beach is dog sh!t on the beach. I have a dog. I clean up after my dog. The tourons that bring dogs to my beach don't do that so fug 'em. I'll tell them to get their dog the fug off the beach.
someone let their dog shatt on my street strip in front of my house! told both my girls ill give them $50 if they can identify the a-hole! when he goes to check his mail there will be dog shatt throw in his mailbox! don't put up with that for a sec! dogs usually like to go back to the same place! that dog and owner are in for a shatt sandwich thrown at them like a monkey!
