This is the best wave forcasting site I've found. Way better than surfline and it free. I'll spred the word.

    Dude

Whoa DUDE! Totally Gnarly! Goin Off, it OWNS! Sheesh. With all the jive talk we may as well be in Leucadia, CA.

Cheers to the site developer for a clean, informative, and very approachable interface. Geek talk trumps "Dude" talk any day of the week.

    Great site

Best free site ever. Beats Surfline/LOLA graphics hands down unless that's gotten a lot better in the past 3 years. Haven't looked at the wind prediction stuff yet. Swell predictdions going out 5 or six days is pretty realistic for most regions. Nice work.

    site question

The regional info for Marin County, CA mentions ankle to knee south swell but overlooks the substantial (but dropping) med interval NW (8'@14from 305) swell the buoys showed today. I didn't get to the coast but the today prediction featuring a small SW is typical of mid summer but not January.

Now it's fixed to reflect substantial NW through the week. Critique withdrawn.

I AGREE...and I agree with all the above 'cept for MDSurfer...Part of the core of the culture is being able to look at ur buddy next to you in the lineup and crack a joke like:"Damn bra, you see that sick kid bust the lip of that nugget?"
