Says right now Saturday will be 4-5ft. pm and Sunday wil be 5-8ft. in the am. Conditions? Will it be worth going out? Anyone planning on going?

ChilledMist, are you looking for a forecast from us forum posters? You got sites for that, brah. There are some upstanding dudes on here, but not a ton of action going on in the brains so I'd not ask most for shoe-tying directions, let alone a comprehensive meteorological forecast 96 hours ahead of time. Too far out to call for winds but we know the swell is there. Damn right we will be charging. 55 degrees and chest to OH depending, yeh breh, it's the dead of winter. We'll be out there. I think it's been mentioned before, but how about the fact that most swells in the last year have come on weekends? Makes the braddahs happy and their "bosses" pissed!!
I'm having difficulty remembering swells since last April that didn't occur on weekends. They happened, but nearly every good swell has been on a weekend. Some areas may have been light on the swells in 2013, though swells during work time that you can't charge are no good anyway and would just piss you off. I'm happy for the 9-5ers that swells have been prevalent on weekends.
I remember during summer we would surf from 7-8:45am, get to work, work till 6, then surf again. Whenever there was swell.

I was sweating balls in the 5/4 on Monday in the 50s air. As soon as I took the hood off I had to duck dive 6 plus sets that came in without hesitation naturally. Chilled the dome and I got a bit of washout which goes all the way to the boots since the Drylock is so on point and fits so well. Thinking about the 3/2 with hooded vest and 5 on hands and 7 on the feet. If I have to scratch as much as I did two days ago I'll be fine, and I'm sure I will. Did this just turn into a wetty thread AND a n/S thread?
Friday and Sunday are looking like the call here. Few hours before High tide both days. Sunday should be plenty clean. Friday should be manageable. One thing I will say about Swellinfo, the AM wind forecasts are almost always wrong, but in a good way. Most windswells we get read 15-20MPH north or south winds on it, but I will be damned if 19 out of 20 times its light to dead wind. Only a couple days all year truly had the crazy sideshores that were projected... So in a nutshell, Its looking like Friday, Sat and Sunday are a must surf down here. Air temps back in the high 60s and low 70s... yup.
