I haven't seen much of anything in DE in well over a month. Not much work, so no money for doing anything else except for cheap beer. I'm starting to become an alcoholic.:(

I'll agree December and January weren't very good in terms of any consistency. But twelve days into Feb and 5 of them have been plenty surfable. Thats above above average. Way out mid-next week is looking favorable for more surf. If you haven't found time or a proper location to surf the recent swells you have only yourselves to blame. BTW a road trip up to Monmouth County NJ today proved highly worth the while. Chest to a couple feet overhead and HOLLOW!

Yea I hear ya, but my problem is I work during the week in NYC so it's tough even for dawn patrol and lately either it has been too small or decent waves have come during the work week--which I have myself to blame and should just quit work and move to indo.

Anyone surf sqaun or bayhead today?

End of next week/weekend we could finally get hit wit solid Feb swell , it's way too early but starting wednesday start to see a spike in offshore swell.

well, salty j,i get bored with tiny waves after a while.
i guess if you only longboard it's been epic.
and i have a job,so my time is limited.
but it's been really small or wrong wind for up here since like october, and freakin' cold!
i'm surfing, but compared to last year and the year before it's crap.
    so,to repeat,by me,this winter sucks,the worst in years.
yesterday had the swell, but the wind was insane here.

    flat

Why cannot we just have a solid winter low move off slowly without having insane west winds!?! This is the worst winter I can remember...in a long time! Puerto Rico and Europe have been benefitting from our spoils though, so there is a silver lining...just not for us! I understand it has not been completely flat, but Delmarva winters usually mean thick grey barrels. A solid Nor'easter would help the sand situation...followed by a solid South swell. Too much to ask? Apparently! Nothing we can do about it I guess. Complaining just makes me feel better...even if no one listens!

Looks like a closeout, but much better than what i saw. I didn't get to to take a look until about 4 o'clock pm. I thought it would be decent with the low incoming tide, but it was pretty much flat.
