yeahh please do something about Gruvi.......He has no interest in actually surfing. If he did, he would be doing more surfing/hands on learning as opposed to cluttering this forum with kook posts. He's not even learning from the things we've said nor is he using the advice we give. Personally, i think Gruvi is a rich guy who wants to be "cool" and rocks his hollister shirts while throwing his money around to buy all the best equipment which he can't even use. look on craigslist, there are tons of boards for sale on there. or just rent one from a shop im sure they can work out a 1 week rental with you. ask the shop that is fixing your board
I think we should start calling kooks 'gruvis'. For example, 'look at this gruvi trying to paddle out in march w a 3/2.' 'this gruvi just burned me and ate it on the drop'

i still say this is a total put-on.it's been over for a week,now.he's no longer fun.great while it lasted,but now we're sick of it and just want to move on.whoever he really is,he's a loser.

We have all suggested very good things for Gruvi to do . Rent a board all the away to sticker over it til u get back . I dont see whats so hard to understand and why the need for useless thread. Geez all the spam adds for Viagra and unlocked cell phone and russian mail order brides were more enjoyable to read and delete and logging on and seeing a page full of thread all by this tool and all of them are almost about the same crap Gruvi Please mellow down and buy some surfer mag , a cpl surf books and use the search button the forum has if you have a question . 9 times outa 10 its been asked already so there is no reason to make another thread and was bandwidth on the site Sincerly The Dudes
Gruvi go cut a tree down in your back yard, rent the movie surfs up with the penguins, and "Big Z" will teach you how to make a surfboard from a tree. Chicken Joe might even teach you the no paddle drop in!

Don't buy into this guys crap. It's a scam. He doesn't really want a board, just attention, and deep psychological attention is what he needs.
Isn't it ironic that you state this, yet I have yet to personally attack anyones identity in this forum. To an intelligent mind, one would see it's quite the opposite, regarding any attention seeking by me; it's literally you and some select others presenting with psychological issues. And you don't matter anyway, as I am currently sitting outside the surf shop in chinky awaiting them to open so I can drop my board off for repair. I drove since 4 am and its sad to sit here reading some of peoples rude replies. Evidently you should take on another hobby since surfing isn't helping brighten your mood at all.
