Finally a good NJ surf day on a weekend! Yay! 5-7 feet with occasional well overhead waves. Any luck for some left overs tomorrow?
I plan to check it out early, Not sure if anything will be left. Was out today (2-23) in long branch, nice 4-7+, lets hope for some leftovers in a early morning sess.
Extremespongerchicks, I HIGHLY doubt there was a 10' set today. Maybe head high +...no higher than 6'
Sweeeeet Dude!!!! Even the man Micah can miss one once in a while. It was nice because all the people who rely solely on this website for forecasting weren't in the water. And man was it fun. GORNS!
Wave Height--Whatever Ok--so I see some select few are drinking too much gator-hate as of late...ha ha. If you surfed between 13th and 14th avenue in big ol' belmar and ya didn't happen to be there when a few kahunas busted on through...so sorry. Better luck next time. The point was that it was a GREAT day in the water.
This was one of the most fun days in OC in a while. I'm not sure if it was the swell direction or what but we had some long open barrels , way more open than usual, almost like a reef break, and the water color just didn't look like it was Maryland. Good waves with nobody out, that's what it's all about

Good times had by all for sure in OCMD. Dave, good to finally meet you and get some of those sweet nuggets rolling through. I'm sure I will see you out there next time (need to get some footage as well).

I was out between 45-48st in OCMD around 11:30-1:30 & saw a few BBERS getting some fun ones. It was definitely fun & I was expecting the winds to shift N way earlier than they did & the water color clarity was like Cali. I was riding a yellow No6 & testing out some new prototype cores (DOW/polypro mix) for our colder waters. The board I was riding worked pretty well last Wed & Sat @ 2 different breaks. I still have a different prototype board to test for the next swell.
chuck white..... How come i cant find any NO6 filth fury boards. saw one on an aussie site and it looks good and grippy on steep waves with the perfect specs i have been looking for. Bat tail has annoyed me lately on my ms3.

The Filth Fury was a limited edition board & one of the best boards No6 has put out in my opinion. Last year they had it out for a limited time then it was gone. So many people loved the board & were requesting it that No6 brought it back out again for a short period of time. It's no longer in production & I have not heard anything about it being part of this years lineup. I did tell them to save some or make me some customs matching the Filth Fury.
Photog Hey just wondering if anyone on here got some shots on 2-23 in mid-town OC. I saw at least one guy on the beach right in front of me on about 47th. Would like to see the shots if your on here
