Firing in NY today. Very similar to the Bertha swell, only with 98% less people.
Moco NJ was going off early AM. Waves turkey beers. Great day.
Today was perfection. Just big enough to give you a rush on the set waves, fun and rippable on the in betweens.
Only chance I got to go out was right after high tide. Thought it was going to be too deep- but it was off the hook! Only 5 guys out at a popular spot and one was a buddy I have not seen in years! Long rides- barrels and lots of laughs and smiles! Thankful for what God has given us!!
The waves where perfection- some of the best (not the biggest) of the year! Mostly due to crowd and stoke factor and it was peeling!
I never made it out, but I'm very jealous of all of you. For any of you in NJ, opinions on the odds of there being anything left at dawn? Anything remotely shortboardable?
I'm thinking longboard waist hi in nj. But the wind isint too hard right now and overnight so maybe maybe it will be waist+
I also did not make it out. Glad you guys scored, it looked great!!!!!
Scored. Awesome day.
I'll be so happy if its waist plus. For me that is mini simms fun. Worth a shot.
Some leftovers tomorrow, turkey and waves. I hope everyone has a good one tomorrow too, get out those LBs.
I seriously doubt it my man. but I think it may be worth a check for a funboard or longboard???
omg where was this
