I haven't surfed in a while and really want to get out tomorrow but I'm getting different information from just about every site. Here it says waist-chest early, with 20-25 mph winds. Surfline says thigh-waist with 30 mph winds, and magic seaweed is saying like 1-2 feet with 35 mph winds? I'm not super experienced with reading raw data so could someone help me out, or at least tell me what you think is going to happen tomorrow? It's going to be the first time I'll have been able to surf in a while and I have a bit of a drive.
i didn't want people to give me sarcastic answers if we happen to be surfing the same area. long beach island NJ
no there is no surfing there... they put spikes into the lineup underwater and chained off all access... lol. Im just kidding. I don't know about tomorrow. If there is anything it will probably be small. I am looking for anything to surf being I have not been in since october 20th... sandy u b%tch.
haha thanks. do you think it will be worth getting out of bed and suiting up for a freezing session though? if swellinfo's forecast is right i'd be more than happy but comparing it to surfline it doesn't look too promising
It's gona be above 25 I think so it won't be that cold either way I have gone out for smaller and colder already this year lol
I really can't say... Im on Long Island and I live on the beach... so for me looking out the window is a lot different than someone having to drive a distance to make the call.
Any body have ant ideas what eastern Long Island will look like? Today it said 1 foot but was actually about 3 clean.
check it early and sack up. need inspiration? think about the soldiers in Nova Scotia. if I lived in Jersey, I'd drive south. way south near the kewl lighthouses. i'm thinking of going north but its gonna be cold and windy. my mind's telling me no, but my body's tellin me yeahheeeyeahh
Well let's see... Tomorrow you're looking at 40 degree water, 30 degree air, 20 degree wind chill, and completely flat surf conditions everywhere in New York and New Jersey. I'd personally take the day off but that's just me.
its showing flat for New york on monday February 18th but the buoy is reading 6.9 ft at 6 sec does anyone know if there will be any surf on monday? got no school for presidents day and got nothing else to do would love to surf
