no links cause saw it on tv (which of course makes it true) on the w/c - basically this original invest - the one that got us excited LIVES ON south of puerto rico....it a'int alive yet also....not dead...
The weather channel has been talking this up all day - solid waves in the Carribean. I guess if youre surfing the south shore of Jamaica, the hype train is aliive
no; they get surf...mostly generated by the trade wind easterlies. the reason why they are not surfed (much) was touched on in the latest surfer mag.....seems its a $ issue. just not enough of it to buy products for recreational use.
What's this that's coming up on the report through next weekend? 6ft at 10s one of the days. Is that from the PR invest?
the pr invest seems to have fizzled over jamaica (mon).... theres' two more out there; next weekend seems a little early for them to produce...
ummm... dudes.... Sunday /Monday Hype??? says head hi in so moco! That means Belmar will be at very least- DOH... and barreling. the kind you could drive a (hype)train thru... hey yo spicoli- start flyin the banners!
Yes bro that's what I was talking about yesterday. Calling for straight east juice by Sunday. There are some breaks here that would go apeschitt from 90 degrees. But winds coming from heavy NE. Good thing Rhodey is showing some action now too with calmer winds. Weather is looking ok too so is this another low in the North Atlantic? That would make 2 rare swells in 2 weeks. FLY A BANNER FOR BEST NON-TROPICAL SUMMER SWELL EVER
Well I'm saying some choice words right now that the models call for waist high on Monday and nothing notable on Sat/Sun. That's down from OH in yesterday's outlook for the weekend. Better get some wahines on the hook for another weekend of sun and debauchery. We will surf again one of these days.
That fetch for early next week must all be pointed more down towards the mid-atlantic. Its keeps changing, but NOAA WW3 is saying 3-5 feet @ 9-10 seconds for the Delmarva Monday/Tuesday from this non-tropical low. We'll see if it develops...

Other models have it tracking over Hispaniola and making landfall on the Gulf Coast. I hope you're right.
That's an interesting model. Looks like the southern states eventually get a tropical blast whereas the mid-Atlantic has its own event. So do I need to consider NJ if I am to seek swell on this swing?
consider it? sure. but go - godspeed to 'ya - to where the wind directions tell you to...3ft + offshore better'n 10 ft onshore.....
