De souza turned it on. I thought that was one of the best heats I've seen him surf.

 

Notice how no matter what JJF did in his last heat, he didn't claim anything. Even when he landed an unmakable reverse on the inside section. He just went about his business. Didn't even look at the Camera. Classy competitor. He had the other 2 smoked and he just carried himself like a boss all the way until the end.

 

Ace just took out Medina!!!

 

Hopefully JJF smashes Adriano

Wow Jimmy Slades...just couldn't put it together against JJF...a few mistakes as well...Pottz blamed Kellys equipment but could it be that He's losing his touch?!

 

these judges are the reason I don't watch many contests.

jjf gets a 7.6 for 2 turns then falling are u fuking serious!!???so disappointed,i knew slater wasn't getting the score he needed,waves sucked,jjf definitely surfed better,but slaters air and a 5pt ride should of done it.getting a 7 for falling after doing 1 good turn is just wrong.

I love watching jj freesurf,but seeing him in contests just pisses me off.he is the 2nd best surfer in the world,he doesn't need points thrown at him.the judges just want to hype up the hurley image by seeing the worlds best win with shytty rides.slaters air ,if it was done by jjf he would've got a 9.8.if it was jjf who fell on slaters wave that got him a 1.2 it would've been a 7.6

 

slater aint losing his touch,he did everything right,judges just overscored jjf like they always do.jj fell on more waves than slater,jjf just young and has more energy to throw more spray out of a 15 inch wave.pottz got his azz kicked by gerlach yesterday lol,he doesn't get to chime in.either way Kelly still beat him at chopes in epic conditions,beat him in the pipe masters and the volcom pipe pro so jjf will have to keep 2nd best until slater retires

 

kelly might have won if he wouldn't have caught rail on those two last takeoffs. I wouldn't be riding an epoxy in that much texture...but I'm not kelly

Didn't give him the final though....I like Jordys hustle throughout the heat as well...but JJFs cut backs are something to study...he's so relaxed through it...not really forcing it just using the face so appropriately...it was a great final to watch.

 

All the stuff about judges is bullsh!t... So the judges want Medina to win because ASP wants a Brazilian champ... Then they wan JJF to win so he gets the score against Slater (the guy everyone would say always gets the score) because they want the winner to be a Hurley guy...
Now they give Jordy the score to beat JJF. Do they want a South African Oneil rider now?
