Looking for a surf trip that would be cheap for an east coaster, besides PR. Did PR loved it but I want to look into other trips
Barbados used to be cheap until they instituted a VAT a few years back. Now everything there is more expensive than here. Maybe El Salvador or Panama?
How cheap is cheap? Caribbean is going to be pricey, just about anywhere. I like northern central Florida and southern north Florida. You can drive it in a day, and find reasonable rentals. OBX has a better shot at surf. New England and Nova Scotia have great surf potential and are not expensive, but it's bloody cold (personally, I don't mind that).
