well they say this storm is heading over colder water so it may actually slow down... i just hope it stays organized enough over that section so when it hits the warm eastern part of the caribbean it starts whipping up again.

There's no sense in gettin excited yet. once that mamma jamma gets b/w fla and bermuda then you can start gettin all antsy in the pantsy. Just remember "Tings Change"

category 3 now and forecasters are saying bertha has peaked in intensity but may still grow in size. i hope it travels west enough before taking its projected northerly track; the northeast might be the place to be if this storm heads up the coast too quickly

I wouldn't get your hopes up, that thing is a LONG ways out and it is already tracking north. Going on the east side of Bermuda is a long ways for those waves to travel on a small storm area wise and ofcourse being on the east coast and our favorite element called the continental shelf that cuts the waves in half.

waist high groundswell is fine with me. i think we are guaranteed that much. the question is always the WIND. Swellinfo shows lighter winds friday and saturday, so i think we'll have a couple days of fun waves. travel is definitely recommended.
