We will get rain, as it moves inland. Which we need here in NH--we are in a drought, despite the El Nino forecasters predicting we were to get a flood of rain. Once again, they too were WRONG.

did you surf this morning? There was a bit of swell, and NW wind, but for some reason it just wasnt hitting the sandbars right, where on Monday it was. Hour and a half in I just gave up.

 

So this is how I picture ber bers solo session.

Walking down the beach stepping on little kids sand castles shouting "go home kooks, my beach, my waves." Screaming at the little old ladies gathering shells "Do you know who I am? I could buy and sell you moron!" Takes off his running suite and puts on his pink spring suite custom made by peasent children in a factory located in some 3rd world country he has stock in, starts waxing his custom Roy LB cursing and frothing at the mouth, stomps on a few crabs,
wades out flipping off the seagulls disgusted by all the nature he sees. Pours a can of oil in the water to kill off any jellies or any thing living that maybe around, eats a shark, sits on his board farting from all the prune juice, screaming coming left, coming right to no one, running over tourons on the inside and threatening to sue them for failure to yield to Da Barry. Gets out just as pissed as he was going in. Kids and small animals run in fear as he walks home yelling "I have a new house here get the fock outta my way little missy."

You should see the welcome wagon down here. A bunch of old retired ex Jerzy swordfishermen/lifeguards that are as crusty as it gets. Hard core "locals" now that they bought a condo near the pier. You would fit right in.

 

in less than 5 minutes baron knowlton would choke slam him and have him turned out on blue heron giving $5 bj's.

 

I saw Baron yelling at some kids for playing football inside the guarded beach zone ( he got hired by the county). He's nuts. He almost made them give up their ball, but they took off running.

 

No...had to work in am. Glad I didn't miss anything. Surfed 6 hours Monday...it was real fun until the wind jumped on it in pm.

 

So I had to take the carb off the generator, take it apart, clean the jets, etc. I'm waiting for the liquid gasket to cure, then I'll gun her up in the morning. It better start. It looks like we might need it for a few days. Surf report looks epic. CHOO CHOO!!!

 

My dreams have been crushed. Oh well, they'll be good waves down here one day.

Having said that, maybe youz guys need the rain?? Seed the lawns, that will turn the storm way out to sea!!

 

What a crazy storm Erika has been. I've gone from being at point of landfall for a Cat 1 to in the clear and back again. Worse is the surf forecast has gone from nothing to 4-6 with offshoures and now maybe some onshoure sloppe. Might be back to head high by this afternoon. Who knows (except barry)? It must suck being a met at the NHC this week. They have to issue a forecast statement knowing that their next statement will contradict the previous one.

I think my biggest problem will be what to do with all this Chinese food I've stockpiled. Glad I didn't go out and buy a new pair of rubber boots.
