Whats the word on the tropics? Don't want to jinx it or overamp it but certain forecasts out there are speculating development. Micah, comments?
Beaner, Ya, I was just looking at it. TD #2 has officially been identified. The small system has become better organized over the past 12-24 hours, and has potential to develop into a tropical storm. The global models aren't picking this up very well.... But, take a look at the Swellinfo nearshore wind maps (nam model), and you will see that it is showing a rather organized system moving towards the outer banks over the next couple days. Lots of disagreement between the models at this point, but def. has the potential to produce surf in our direction.
