Excuse my bias, I feel the same about corporations as a lot of you do about liberals.

Except for the inbred-looking little girl, all the females in that picture need to have an "intimate evening" with yours truly.

Where's that Baron kid? He's Trump's kid right? Why he aint in da picture? This is a more serious issue than any other yet discussed in this tread. I'm going to leave work, smoke some grass, and ponder this. I may need to raise awareness for Baron.

I think Trump forgets that Baron is his son, he was too busy shagging ho's during the delivery.

They only lost if they sold their positions....otherwise, they should be up pretty good in their 401k...

Sucks if you planned on retiring then, right?

Also, I'm not sure how good the 401k for former Enron employees is looking right now.

Risk management. If they were heavily in bonds as they were approaching retirement they were fine.

Anomaly. Never put all of your 401k in corporate stock...NEVER!

And the best thing about that is that he was a liberal, Manhattan DEMOCRAT when he was doing all this shagging.

I don't know what he is truly, but he has the moral compass of a newt.

What does that have to do with credit crisis and effect on 401k plans of those approaching retirement?

I was not for bail out btw. Not sure of your point and having a hard time keeping up with your line of thinking.

    All good man...

You were saying that the investors should practice better risk management and my reply was that the companies we've had to bail out should practice better risk management. Direct reply to a direct statement by you.

My line of thinking is that the bailouts are a form of corporate welfare, which I think is a bigger problem than illegal immigration to our country as a whole.

No worries Jay, I am guilty of my fair share of ramblings from time to time.

Yea, if a company is mismanaged it should fail. I don’t like the premise of too big to fail.

I was speaking directly to your retiree comment. My point was proper asset allocation should not have been so painful for someone approaching retirement (risk management and self responsibility). The market is full of risk and risk takers make shit happen and sometimes it bites you in the ass lol. If someone was approaching retirement and is fully engaged in the equity market, that is a risk “they” take...credit crisis, dot com bubble, even the Great Depression has taught us that risk management is imperative. Totally agree that corporate welfare should not happen. Especially for those who create there own destiny (i.e. the banks...although gov’t did have a hand in what eventually occurred, the banks got caught in a catch 22 with the housing bubble and lax lending practices).

I heard that Newts, like the American Swan, are monogamous. I'd have said, " He has the moral compass of a Hells Angel" or something to that effect . Or is it affect?
