it's actually better if trump stays in office for the time being as long as he doesn't end up getting too many of our people killed. the total incompetence of this administration will prevent anything significant from getting done. as long as the mainstream republicans continue to do nothing about it, it will just lead to a turnover of congress in 2018 and then potus in 2020. one can only imagine how much damage a semi competent republican president (like pence) could do with both houses on his side. as it is now, nothing is being accomplished except running from one disaster to the next and putting out all the fires donald is starting.

Pretty sure Obama was too ethical to ask that the case be dropped, I mean he is such a great guy and would never use a position of power to influence an investigation.

How about Obamas "Henry ll" moment "Will no one rid me of this troublesome priest?" when sympathetic government agencies were turned against legitimate political movements and he could claim no part in it?
