I would. Blanket statements can sometimes demonize good folks with bad politics. He sometimes makes the mistake of using a blanket statement (most make this mistake at times) but I also believe that most people understand what he really means and that he’s really referring to those guilty of such acts. He also has said that there are fine people on the left, that some of them are his friends. I mean, it wasn’t long ago that he was a Democrat. But the majority of them are part of the “resistance” so I can see why the blanket statement gets used at times. It’s easier than constantly saying, not all but most. He would need to use a disclaimer every time to make sure the few don’t get their feelings hurt.
The whole education system is failing, but I tend to put as much blame on parenting in this country. But that is an entirely different discussion.
Not at all. The point of my post was that comparing what happened on some campuses in the late 60s doesn't excuse bad behavior today.
I would argue the same way I argue the Islam thing: if you support and agenda that does things like this, even just by staying silent when it’s time to speak out against those things that are done, what makes you better or different? The loudest sound you hear from people like that? The roaring silence.
I see it after almost every city wins a professional sports championship. I'm not gonna sit here and defend these idiots, I just think they are the fringe morons just the like Proud Boys are for the right. Just don't see Antifa bringing down democracy, call me crazy.
They certainly did - and I seem to remember quite a few times some dumbazz lib saying the same thing about other stuff, including the rape and murder of trumps wife and kid, the Benghazi soldiers, Charlie Hebdo, 9/11... you wanna keep going? For a network that’s as divisive, one sided, arrogant and inciteful as them or cnn, to be surprised at something like this is just playing dumb. It’s simple, you kick a dog long enough in a corner it’s gonna turn and bite you.
It wouldn’t DP cause they’d get mowed over like grass if it came to that. With no one blocking for them or protecting them? Like I’ve said, water through a seive. That’s what we have to fear if things kept progressing to there - bad day for all sides.
When you have family members living in such an environment and directly dealing with such behavior, one's concern is greater.
‘All one need do is read the rules for LEGAL immigration. You must have: - a sponsor - a job paying a living wage - learn English - eschew ALL government benefits and welfare payments of any sort - learn the history of the US and pass a test most college seniors in our top universities would fail - pay (either the individual, sponsor or both) around $15K to an immigration lawyer to handle your paperwork - prove yourself over multiple years, submitting multiple reports over many years. - obey ALL laws and regulations --- one-strike baseball: one screwup and you're gone. Then you get a Green Card. HOW FOOLISH LEGAL IMMIGRANTS MUST FEEL WHEN THEY SEE THE ATROCITIES OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. Amazing any of them would even consider voting democrat party.’
Call me naive, I'm fine with that. I would say you guys are succumbing to the fear mongering. Time will tell I suppose.
Donald Trump became the latest to fall victim to the liars in the “news” media, as they feverishly reported Trump’s “Anti Mexican” remarks, painting him as a racist and a hate monger. Here’s what he actually said: “The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems,” Trump said. “It’s true. And these aren’t the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime; they’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.” That’s a far cry from “All Mexicans are rapists,” or “All immigrants are killers”. CNN’s Brook Baldwin actually reported: “Donald Trump called all Mexicans rapists and killers” following up by calling his remarks “Anti-Mexican” and that Trump “called all immigrants killers”.
Only 2,500 people showed up to hear Trump speak at the Phoenix Convention Center. The Phoenix Business Journal reported that 4,200 people were on hand, and noted, significantly, that "there were scores of Trump backers that did not get into his rally because the room hit fire code capacity." Other independent observers have placed the crowd at over 7,500.
