That's a win for Trump, I will respect the DOJ's call.

Trump does keep expanding to limits of executive power (6th appointment of this kind in his 2 year). I just hope you guys aren't regretting it if a Dem POTUS uses these precedents to their advantage. This was a problem with Obama, he expanded the POTUS power and the dems regret that he did now. This doesn't worry you guys at all?

What concerns me is, who in their right mind is going to want to run for any high office anymore? Our system of governance is decaying and it will be up to us to end the corruption it is bound to happen one way or another. Trump is just the primer.

I see it as the opposite. If a reality TV star can be President, now everyone thinks they can get into that spotlight. Just look at the midterms, didn't see any shortage of willing participants.

I said anyone in their right mind. Meaning any descent person.

True but to label him as a reality TV show star is not telling the whole story, he had to be a very successful businessman first before he earned the TV show. People didn’t vote for him because of the TV show, they voted for him because he knows business and has good policies that people agreed with.

Well if you consider Trump a decent person, then you pretty much open it up to anyone.

If you say so, his personal history doesn't match that statement exactly.

Not really a fact at all. His tax returns would help prove what you believe but he doesn't want to share them for some reason. Bernie Madoff was considered a business genius until someone else actually got a look at his books.

One minor difference is the illusion of paper assets (scheme) versus hard income producing assets all over the world.
